Statement of the Office of the Solicitor General On Bar Exam 2018 Results

SOLICITOR GENERAL – The Office of the SolGen issued a statement over the results of the Bar Exam 2018.

Today, May 3, 2019, is the expected releasing date of the results of the bar exam 2018 conducted last November 2018. It was no other than the Supreme Court that announced its target release today.

The licensure exam for lawyers was conducted during the four Sundays of the said month, November 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2018. It was administered at the University of Santo Tomas.

Around six(6) months after the last day of the exam, the results are expected to be released. Associate Justice Mariano del Castillo, the head of the 2018 Bar Examinations Committee, will announce the results at the High Court Quadrangle in Padre Faura, Manila.

Based on a recent social media post on the Twitter account of PhilStar, the Office of the Solicitor General has already issued a statement over the results of the Bar Exam 2018.

In its statement, the SolGen congratulated the passers of the licensure exam for lawyers conducted last November 2018. It also stressed in its statement that it annually invites the “brightest lawyers” to join the firm.

Also, the OSG expressed an encouragement to the passers to join it in the pursuit of social justice being the Defender of the Public and Tribune of the People.

Based on the post of PhilStar, with regards to those who won’t pass the exam, the Office of the SolGen stated – “Do not lose faith. Courage lies not in the number of times we fall, but in every fall, we rise up from ashes ready to fight anew.”
