Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates in the country for today.

On Friday (May 3, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the current weather condition.

PAGASA said that a frontal system and the easterlies would affect the weather condition over some parts of the country.


The frontal system would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands.

The easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over the Bicol Region, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of Luzon.


The weather agency also advised the public to be always prepared for possible flashfloods during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Northern and central Luzon would be slight to moderate.

Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions are expected over the rest of Luzon as well as Visayas and Mindanao, according to the weather bureau.
