Social Media Page Exposes Alleged Biometrics Scam Containing Comelec Voters’
A certain social media page exposed the alleged biometrics scam of several political candidates containing Comelec voters’ information.
Over the past few weeks, political candidates were very busy conducting campaign to earn the sympathy of the Filipino voters.
The candidates were already distributing posters, flyers, and other campaign materials aiming to win the 2019 midterm elections.
Recently, The Facebook page “Anonymous Dagupan” has shared the alleged biometrics scam used by some political candidates.
The biometrics allegedly contains the details and information of the Filipino voters registered at the Commission on Election (COMELEC).
The social media page narrated that several politicians were asking voters to attend ‘Meeting de Avance’ and would give P500 after the registration on their biometrics.
The page also claims that the voter’s photo on Comelec appeared on the politician’s biometrics system.
