OLD BANANA VENDOR – The old banana vendor said he’s thankful to the person who tricked him with P1000 bill.
In a previous article, an old banana vendor Solomon Alfanta received a fake P1K bill from his heartless customer.
The old man has no idea that the money was fake. The wicked customer bought P100 worth of bananas and he gave him P900 for change.
When the old banana vendor went to the market to buy pork, the vendor told him that his P1000 bill was fake.
He said it was very dark when the customer bought him the fruits so he could not identify that the money was fake.
Help poured after his story was posted on social media. His customers now buy him bananas without asking for a change.
Based on a report from Cebu Daily News, the old man said he was thankful to the person who paid him a fake P1000 bill because he is now getting more help.
“Sa 50 ka tuig nga naninda mi, pasalamatan nako tong namiktima nako kay akong kwarta nga dala niya, mas dako ang na baws sa akoa,” he said in Cebuano.
(I’ve been a vendor for 50 years and I would like to express my gratitude to the person who tricked me with a fake bill because I now receive so much more than the money he took from me.)
According to the report, the old banana vendor was diagnosed with a heart ailment in 2018. Now, he has enough money for his medical checkups.
Soloman Alfanta’s wife Lucia is as grateful as him. She once said that their family should have a celebration but they didn’t pursue it because they decided to just use the money for her husband’s medical checkups.
