Boss Posted Employee’s Face On EDSA Billboard, Here’s Why
EMPLOYEE – An employee with a company loan went viral after her boss posted her face in EDSA billboard.
It’s important to carry respect when interacting with anyone, especially to our employers.
Unfortunately, there are some bosses who don’t treat their employees with adequate respect.
Big or small businesses, owners and managers should always give importance to their employees because they are valuable assets of the company.
Being a leader doesn’t always mean that you automatically earn respect. Employees might behave in an uncivil manner if their bosses fail to act respectfully.
Meanwhile, a company employee named Maricel Azuelo Garcia went to the program of the broadcast journalist Raffy Tulfo to ask for help.
She said her face and named was posted in a huge billboard in EDSA with a label that she owed a sum of money.
The employee who worked as Admin and accounting supervisor on that company said she felt so ashamed and devastated after learning that her profile was placed in a very crowded area.
She said she and her boss made a deal. She will be an on-call employee since she really wanted to resign. Her boss was against her decision at first.
Raffy Tulfo said the company could lose its license and imprison the one who’s responsible for posting her picture on the billboard in EDSA.
On the latter part of the video, she admitted that she has a P34,000 left to pay for her company loan. She promised to pay it after she receives her “final pay.”
Netizens expressed their thoughts and opinions on the employees’ issue. Here are some of their comments from the video:
@LOVETEAMs: “Kawawa naman si ate, grabe pamamahiya ! Dapat dyan ang bini billboard yung mga kabit”
@Ashley Young: “May mga tao ngang hindi nakaka bayad Ng mga utang Hindi nga pinagawaan Ng billboard”
