The 750 Pesos Minimum Wage Is Being Pushed By Church People And Trade Union Leaders
P750 MINIMUM WAGE – The bill proposing to increase minimum wage was passed to the Philippine Congress back in May 28, last year.
According to last years update, in Metro Manila, the most recent minimum wage rate is at P500-P537 per day. Read more about it here.
With the House Bill 7787, the authority to control wage rates and policies will be taken from the National Wages and Productivity Commission and Regional Tripartite Wage and Productivity Board. Instead, the chief executive will have the power to decide on the minimum wage.

The photo was posted with the caption:
“Church people and trade union leaders call to “Vote for Dignity of Labor” in the coming 2019 elections, calls on public to vote for candidates who will push to end contractualization and a minimum wage of ₱750 nationwide.”
And the hashtag #Halalan2019.
