‘Idol Philippines’ Judges, Netizens After Performance
JAKE ZYRUS – Ex-girlfriend of Jake Zyrus, Alyssa Quijano wowed the ‘Idol Philippines’ judges and netizens after her incredible performance.
Filipino singer Jake Zyrus is formerly known as Charice Pempengco. He is among the entertainers who made a name in the international music scene.
The 26-year-old singer is known for his songs “Pyramid,” “Louder,” and “Before It Explodes” among others.
In 2012, Jake Zyrus became one of the judges of the reality music competition ‘The X Factor Philippines.’
The international singer sensation got into a relationship with a former X Factor contestant Alyssa Quijano.
After four years of being in a relationship, Jake Zyrus and Alyssa Quijano broke up. However, the reason for their separation was not disclosed.
Now, the singer is happily engaged with Shyre Aquino while Alysa is finishing her studies.
On Alyssa Quijano’s audition on ‘Idol Philippines,’ she shared some of her experience from her past relationship with Jake Zyrus.
“Marami akong sa sacrifice doon sa relationship naming so I stopped singing, nawala yung Alyssa na kilala ko…”
“After the breakup… I learned a lot from that relationship… I believe pareho kaming natuto sa pagkakamali namin,” she added.
Alyssa Quijano sang Regine Velasquez’ hit song “Araw Gabi” and it made judges Vice Ganda, Moira dela Torre, James Reid, and Regine amazed by her beautiful voice.
As of this writing, the video of her performance gathered over 1 million views in Youtube.
