The Department of Health also advised the public against health problems that may come with the hot temperature. Especially, the possibility of heat strokes.
The Department of Health also gave tips to help the public avoid such potentially life-threatening conditions. Among the tips given by the DOH were: increase in water intake, wearing of light-colored and loose clothes and avoiding too much exposure to heat from the sun.
As the scorching heat indexes continue to rise, it is also suggested that residents should stay indoors and avoid going out unprotected from the sun.
Umbrellas are also very effective defenses for the summer heat. And remember to always carry small, portable water containers when going out and stay hydrated.
That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
