Cyprus Authorities Search For More Victims, Including Pinay
CYPRUS – Authorities from Cyprus hunt for more victims of 35-year-old Greek Cypriot army officer who admitted “killing” seven women and underaged girls.
The Republic of Cyprus is located in the southeast of Greece and the third most populous island in the Mediterranean.
It is among the major tourist destination in the Mediterranean because of its beautiful culture.
Recently, the people living on the island has been left stunned after a man confessed that he ‘killed’ seven women and underage girls.
35-year-old Greek Cypriot army officer named Nicos Metaxas confessed that he dumped their bodies in the lakes.
Based on a report from Philstar, the police officers in Cyprus searched the lakes to find other remains of the victims.
Nicos Metaxas previously told the authorities that he slay those foreign women and minor girls on the Mediterranean holiday island.
According to the report, Cyprus police officers recovered three bodies of Filipina domestic workers last April 14. The media dubbed them “Cyprus’ First Serial Killings.”
The suspect willingly showed the authorities the spot where he dumped the body. The police said they will for more bodies’ one step at a time.
“We are searching step-by-step,” an officer said.
The suspect reportedly met the Pinay through an online dating site called ‘Badoo.’
Based on the hunt, the police officers are still searching for the remains of a 6-year-old Filipina, daughter of one of the victim.
Aside from her, they were also searching for the body of an unidentified Asian woman that’s on the suspect’s list and the missing Romanian mother and her daughter.
