Latest Updates on Luzon Quake Casualties Released by PAGASA
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) released the latest updates on Luzon quake casualties.
Over the past few weeks, earthquake has been one of the most discussed topics online after a magnitude 6.1 earthquake hits parts of Luzon.
The epicenter of the quake was located at Castillejos, Zambales damaging numerous establishments and took the lives of several residents.
The powerful quake in Luzon has been followed by strong tremors in some parts of the country.
Recently, NDRRMC has released the latest updates regarding the numbers of casualties of Luzon quake.
The agency reported that the death toll of the quake in Central Luzon have already reached 18 while 282 people were injured.
The council also recorded that about 1,230 houses along Bataan and Pampanga were partially and severely damaged.
Over 900 families in Central Luzon particularly from the provinces of Pampanga and Zambales were currently residing in evacuation centers.
Meanwhile, the estimated total damage of the quake at schools in Ilocos region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, at National Capital Region was P300 million.
