List of Metro Manila Roads To Be Closed From April 26 Until April 29, 2019

METRO MANILA ROADS – The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced the list of roads in Metro Manila that will be closed on April 26-29, 2019.

Undeniably, among the busiest roads in the Philippines are those in Manila. It is no secret to the public that most of the time, there is heavy traffic in the place that is why commuters should really get up early to catch their appointments on time.

Meanwhile, there are measures taken to ease the traffic. The authorities even implement number coding on vehicles to avoid clogging on the road. Also, they make sure that roads are comfortably passable for the vehicles.

That is why certain road repairs take place once in a while to fix what needs to be fix and also to make room for road improvements.

Recently, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that they will implement road repairs this some Metro Manila roads would be closed.

According to MMDA, the closure will start at 11:00 in the evening today, April 26, 2019 (Friday), until April 29, 2019 (Monday).

Here is the list of the Metro Manila roads that will be closed this weekend for repairs according to the report:

  • First lane from the sidewalk in EDSA New York
  • First and second lanes from the sidewalk in EDSA fronting Baliwag Transit to New York Street.
  • Outer lane in EDSA (50 meters after Magallanes MRT to KM 29)
  • Middle lane in C-5 Road fronting SM Aura

The MMDA said that by 5:00 o’clock in the morning of April 29, 2019, the roads will be open for the vehicles. Meanwhile, the public is expected to avoid these roads while the repairs are going on.
