Miles Ocampo has spoken about the alleged showbiz comeback of John Lloyd Cruz
Kapamilya actress Miles Ocampo broke her silence on the alleged showbiz comeback of A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz.
Lloydie took an indefinite leave of absence last October 2017. The reported reason for his hiatus was that he needed to attend to personal matters.
During that time, his relationship with sexy actress Ellen Adarna also became public.
For more than a year, fans have been waiting for him to have his showbiz comeback. Although Lloydie has been out of the spotlight, social media posts about him still give updates once in a while.
Just recently, teasers about the return of John Lloyd Cruz to the industry circulated online.
His fellow celebrities Bea Alonzo and Jodi Sta. Maria also hinted about this. For TV host Boy Abunda, the showbiz comeback of Lloydie is not happening yet.
On the other hand, Halik actor Jericho Rosales stated that he has been expecting JLC to return.
In line with this, Lloydie’s former Home Sweetie Home co-star Miles Ocampo was asked about his alleged comeback.
Miles was asked if it is really true following the topic about the new format of the sitcom since Piolo Pascual is set study abroad.
“[May mga nagco-comment nga na ganun eh], na nag-give way si Piolo. Sabi ko hindi naman kasi wala pa naman kaming nababalitaan na ganun,” she said.
However, the young actress said that she remains in touch with the A-list actor.
“Nakakausap ko naman si kuya Lloydie pero hindi kasi ako nagtatanong ng anything related sa trabaho kasi nahihiya ako. Pero nagkakamustahan kami, okay naman. Masaya naman siya,” Miles shared.
Despite what happened, she is still thankful that the show continues to provide entertainment to the viewers until now, based on the report from ABS-CBN.
