Manila Water Chief Operating Officer Geodino Carpio Resigns From Post After Crisis

Manila Water Chief Operating Officer Geodino Carpio resigned from his position following the previous water crisis.

Previously, a water crisis happened in some parts in Metro Manila. A lot of residents suffered from shortage of water supply for several days and it gained immediate action from the government.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte himself has talked to the responsible offices. He even ordered the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System to demand water from the responsible offices.

The 74-year-old President talked with the officials of MWSS and Manila Water. He expressed that they should shape up or they will have to leave their posts.

Recently, an update regarding the issue that has already died down but is still being fixed crossed the surface.

Based on a recent social media post on the Facebook page of Super Radyo DZBB 594khz, Manila Water Chief Operating Officer Geodino Carpio resigned from his position.

The resignation of Carpio came after the water crisis which undeniably disappointed a lot of Filipinos including Pres. Duterte.

As of this writing, there are still no further information on the resignation of the chief operating officer of the water agency.
