PABASA NG PASYON
Reading or Chanting of the Passion or “Pabasa” is an activity for the whole community. Devotees gather to sing and chant the words of Jesus Christ during the passion.
WASHING OF THE FEET
The washing of the feet is a ritual that is done on Thursday of the “Semana Santa.” Several clergies gather in a mass service to wash the feet of the Roman Catholic devotees.
SALUBONG
This activity is done at dawn. It is a reenactment of the meeting of Jesus Christ and Mother Mary. The “Salubong” of the statues of Jesus and Mary happens on the Easter Sunday.
