Janella Salvador Experiences Painful Depression After Affair with Elmo Magalona
JANELLA SALVADOR – Actress Janella Salvador admitted that she battled with depression after her affair with Elmo Magalona.
Kapamilya actress and recording artist Janella Salvador rose to fame after she starred on the hit tv series “Be Careful With My Heart.”
The 21-year-old actress is the daughter of the musical actress Jenine Desiderio and former vocalist of Rage band, Juan Miguel Salvador.
Previously, Janella Salvador claimed that she was physically hurt by her ex-boyfriend Elmo Magalona.
“It was not the first time that he hurt me. The first time happened months earlier…”
“He claimed that he didn’t remember what he did, maybe because he had a drink, and he asked for forgiveness, and I gave him a chance,” she added.
Janella Salvador was recently invited to become a guest on the ABS-CBN talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda.”
During the show’s segment “Legit or Lie,” the actress willingly disclosed her tough struggles with depression due to her previous relationship.
Janella Salvador happily confirmed that she has moved on and shared how she cope up with it.
“I went through really bad times, I got depressed, I didn’t wanna get out of the house anymore, when I went through that it’s like I wanted to be in this little hole and never get out,” she recalled.
King of Talk Boy Abunda asked Janella Salvador about the moment when she knew she already moved on.
“I have to be honest with you…there was one night that I couldn’t stop thinking about bad things. I was really depressed…”
“I was up all night I couldn’t sleep…and when I woke up, three different friends who weren’t close to each other sent me a message,” Janella added.
Janella revealed that among the three people who comforted her is the actress Erich Gonzales.
She said Erich sent her a very long message saying “there is something better in store for you, God wants to tell you that.” The actress said her two other friends also told her almost the same thing.
“In your time of need talaga, that’s how you know that God is there,” she said.
