List of 21 Makati Streets To Be Closed From April April 14-21 for the Holy Week 2019
HOLY WEEK 2019 – Here is a list of 21 streets in Makati that will be closed from April 14 to April 21 for the Holy Week.
In the Philippines, one of the widely-observed religious events is the Holy Week. It is in commemoration of the passion and death of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In line with the week-long religious event, holidays were declared and shopping malls and other establishments also declared suspension of work. A lot of people are coming home to their hometowns.
That is why the flock of thousands of passengers are expected in bus terminals, airports, and sea ports. Airlines including the Philippine Airlines (PAL) has previously released a notice regarding the event.
Aside from the cancellation of work, the expected flock of passengers in transport areas, and the expected huge traffic, some areas in Manila will also be closed.
Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, 21 streets in Makati will be closed from April 14 to April 21 for the Holy Week 2019.
