Unidentified Persons Shot Negros Oriental Acting Chairman Inside the Barangay Hall
NEGROS ORIENTAL – Barangay San Pedro, Santa Catalina acting Barangay Chairman Samuel Ragay was shot inside the barangay hall.
Alarming incidents are happening in Negros right now. Previously, a board member identified as Miguel Dungog was shot in Dumaguete. He was at the area of Siliman University Medical Center when the incident happened.
The board member candidate in the upcoming midterm election did not survive the incident. The suspects were able to get away from the scene.
Recently, another alarming incident involving a politician crossed the surface.
Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, a Negros Oriental acting barangay chairman identified as Samuel Ragay was shot inside the barangay hall.
The incident happened in the barangay hall of Barangay San Pedro in Santa Catalina. The acting chairman was with two(2) women when the suspects arrived at the barangay hall.
Based on the report, the suspects right away told the victims to get on the floor. They shot at the victims.
Ragay and the two(2) women were rushed to the hospital but the Negros Oriental acting barangay chairman did not survive the incident.
The authorities have yet to determine the purpose of the suspects. They reportedly believe that Ragay is the target of the suspects. The investigation is currently ongoing.
