Man Shares Experience As Only Passenger On Boeing 737 To Italy

Here is the experience of a man as an only passenger of a Boeing 737 flight to Italy

A Lithuanian man shared his experience during a Boeing 737 flight to Italy as he was the only passenger on board.

Skirmantas Strimaitis flew from Vilnius to Bergamo for a skiing trip on March 16. He had no idea that the one-way ticket he booked to Italy would end up to an amazing experience.

He boarded on the plane with two pilots and five crew members and no other passengers.

Strimaitis first got a clue that his trip was not the usual when he checked in Lithuania’s Vilnius International Airport. He was told that the crew was already waiting for him when in fact he came early.

He asked why and was told that he was the only passenger. Tour operator Novaturas confirmed that they chartered a flight from Bergamo to Vilnius for a group of clients that day.

For the reason that they don’t want an empty aircraft to come back, they put on sale the one-way ticket for the return trip.

And viola! Skirmantas Strimaitis was the only passenger of Boeing 737 to Italy that day, based on the report from CNN.

The sole passenger shared that the crew seemed to be confused also as it might be a new experience for them to only have one passenger in a two-hour flight.

“I was provided with a personal pre-flight safety demonstration. Then I just enjoyed the flight by taking selfies and writing. To have silence on a plane was very unusual. I was smiling all day,” Strimaitis said.

He also said that the pilot addressed him as “Mr. Passenger” of a Boeing 737.

“The crew said how nice it was to have me on the board. I’m sure it was an easy job for them,” he added.
