Campaign Materials of these Candidates Covers Mural Paintings in Cebu Goes Viral
CAMPAIGN MATERIALS – The campaign materials of these candidates in Cebu City covered the beautiful mural paintings.
The official campaign period for the party-list groups and national candidates started last February 12, 2019.
In a previous article, the Commission on Election gave instructions in where to post their campaign materials.
Atty. Noel Del Prado cited the Republic Act No. 9006 or “Fair Election Act” to remind the candidates about the rules and regulations.
Areas that are not allowed to post their campaign paraphernalia include Barangay Halls, Parks, Public Schools, Bridges, Public Utility Vehicles, and any Government Buildings.
Meanwhile, a post from a Facebook netizen named Joel Capili Garganera caught the attention of the netizens.
He shared a photo of campaign materials posted in the streets of Queen City Garden in Cebu City.
It can be seen that it was the election posters of Tommy Osmeña and Mary Ann Delos Santos.
The viral post gathered a lot of negative reactions because the beautiful mural paintings were covered with their campaign posters.
As of this writing, the post of Garganera garnered more than one thousand reactions, 96 comments and 95 shares on Facebook.
