Water Service Interruption In The Following Areas

Several water companies announced a temporary water service interruption over some parts of the country, asking understanding from the consumers.

Over the past few weeks, the El Niño phenomenon was severely affecting several parts of the country and causing inconvenience to the Filipino people.

The dry spell causes a reduction on the water levels of different dams in the Philippines resulting in water shortage.

On Thursday (March 21, 2019), Manila Water declared a water interruption in several areas due to the water shortage.

Manila Water said that the no water service starts at 2 am and would resume around 5 pm on Thursday in the following areas of San Mateo, Rizal:

  • Parts of Ampid 1 Ampid 2
  • Parts of Banaba (Ciudad Licel, Dona Pepeng, North and South – Libis, Felicidad Village 3, Baybay Sapa, Torres Amado Compound)
  • Dulong Bayan 1
  • Dulong Bayan 2
  • Guinayang
  • Guitnang Bayan 1 (except Divine Mercy)
  • Guitnang Bayan 2
  • Malanday
  • Maly
