Keempee de Leon Talks About his ‘Tampo’ with Eat Bulaga, Says Okay with Hosting It’s Showtime
KEEMPEE DE LEON – Tv host Keepmpee de Leon talked about his ‘tampo’ issue with Eat Bulaga.
Filipino tv host, comedian, and actor Keempee de Leon is the son of veteran actors Joey de Leon and Daria Ramirez.
Keempee is known as one of the hosts of the Kapuso noontime variety show Eat Bulaga. He also appeared on the network’s tv show like “Pepito Manaloto,” “Meant To Be,” and “Little Nanay” among others.
Last October 2018, Keempee de Leon transferred to ABS-CBN network. He offered to become part of the new tv series “Ngumiti Ang Langit.”
Based on a report from Bandera Inquirer, Keempee de Leon admitted that he felt ‘tampo’ on the Eat Bulaga management.
“I’m not blaming them at hindi naman mawawala na nagtampo talaga ako kasi wala akong sagot na nakuha or memo, pero hindi tayo puwedeng magmukmok ng ganu’n lang, so I have to do something, I have to move on, I have to make a decision, kailangan kong magtrabaho.”
“Pero malaki ang nagawa sa akin dahil 14 years ako sa Bulaga,” he added.
According to the report, the interviewer asked Keempee de Leon if he’s okay with guesting on Eat Bulaga if ever.
“Right now hindi ko masasabi. Nandoon pa rin ang tampo pero hindi naman magla-last ‘yun kung baga hinayaan ko na sa Diyos lahat,” he answered.
Based on the report, Keempee de Leon also said wouldn’t say no if It’s Showtime management will offer him a job to be a host on the program.
“I’m not closing my doors and I can say yes. Sana maintindihan nila (EB) ako. I’m in this business for quite sometime, trabaho lang naman itong ginagawa ko, so sana lang ‘wag personalin,” said Keempee.
