Several Services of BDO Unibank Unavailable on March 23 and 24, 2019
The following BDO Unibank services will be unavailable starting March 23 (Saturday) and March 24 (Sunday), 2019 due to this reason.
Nowadays, most people rely on trusted bank holding companies in different types of transactions.
Interruptions in bank transactions could cause inconvenience to the bank clients and account holders.
Recently, the Facebook page “CNN Philippines” reported that the following services of Banco de Oro or popularly known as BDO Unibank, Inc. would be unavailable.
The social media page announced that several BDO services would be unavailable starting 10 pm March 23 until 12 pm on March 24, 2019.
Here is the list of affected services:
- ATMs
- Debit and cash card transactions
- Online and mobile banking
The unavailable services were due to the system upgrade of the popular banking company.
BDO’s transaction banking group head executive and vice president Edwin Reyes advised clients to perform their transactions before the system upgrade schedule.
“We advise our clients to perform their electronic banking transactions prior to the scheduled upgrade to avoid any inconvenience,” Reyes said.
