Nadine Lustre opens up about the suicide of her brother Isaiah Lustre
Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre finally spoke about the suicide of her 16-year-old brother Isaiah Lustre back in 2017.
The world of social media witnessed how Nadine first hinted about what she and her family was going through.
Later on, reports confirmed that her brother took his own life as two of the younger siblings heard the gunshot.
Nadine Lustre did not further shared the surrounding circumstances of his brother’s death but it was obvious on her post how she grieved for losing him.
It was just recently when she finally opened up about it during an interview on Headstart.
The actress admitted that what happened to his brother affected her so much.
“I was completely destroyed when my brother passed away, it was super sudden
Nadine added that after the suicide, she and her family were blaming themselves.
“Actually, parang, we are all blaming ourselves. Parang, we could have saved him. We could have done something,” she said.
When asked if she had an idea what her brother went through, Nadine said that she only had a deeper knowledge about it through the poems and blog entries of Isaiah.
With this, the actress shared a lesson she learned.

She also admitted that she had suicidal tendencies during the time she got depressed a few years ago. However, the actress said that her boyfriend James Reid helped her a lot.
