This 85-year-old man proposed again to his wife for 63 years
Karl Von Schwarz, 85 years old and from Ohio,
They were high school sweethearts and got married in 1965. Since that time, they became inseparable.
More than three decades of marriage brought them ups and downs. The most trying times happened to the couple last year when Donna had open heart surgery, seizure and stroke.
Because of this, Karl promised Donna that he will buy her a new ring if she will get through the surgery. The old man kept his promise as he brought his wife to a department store to choose her new ring.
“It was great because it’s a gal that I’ve loved all of my life. It was very easy. You know we’ve been together so long that we can’t stay apart easily,” Karl said.
Christina, the granddaughter of the couple shared this touching moment on Twitter.

“They’re really just such amazing people, I’ve never met anyone like them. They’re definitely something to strive for in a relationship,” Christina said, based on the report from Inquirer.
