The Facebook user Socrates B. Villegas has shared his video slamming President Duterte with the passages from the Holy Scriptures.
Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas created his statement against the President before the start of Catholic penitential season of lent.
The beginning of the video shows how Mr. Duterte criticizing and giving distasteful remarks towards the Catholic Church and priests.
The video also shows the instances wherein the Philippine President even cursed and insulted God.
Villegas addressed cited various Bible passages as a counterpart on President Duterte’s distasteful remarks.
“The Lord said, ‘Are you betraying the son of man with a kiss.’ My dear brothers and sisters, are you going to betray God? Are you going to deny your faith by your vote?” Villegas said.
