DRESS CODE: Will You Agree To Ban Sando, Shorts, Slippers In Public Places?

Post about dress code banning some casual outfits lambasted online.

DRESS CODE – A certain post have occurred and circulated online which was lambasted for stating something about banning shorts, sandos, and slippers in public places.

People wear accordingly to the clothes that make them comfortable and that make them look pretty presentable. And there are these dress codes that we have marking what we should wear when inside the house, in work, in public places, in formal parties, and among other events.

However, just recently, a post shared by a certain netizen has circulated online about the post of someone as if persuading the public to agree to his thought of banning people to wear sando, shorts, and slippers in public places.

The post as shared by someone named Astrological Lesbian from Twitter says:

“Perhaps we can all agree and our legislators can pitch in: please ban sando, shorts, and/or tsinelas in public places. One can be sloppy and uglify inside their home all they want. But don’t bugoy in public, specially in areas where others can lose their appetite.
With that cheap imports and more choices, plus the fact that most people seemingly can afford smart phones, then do dress decently in public – to show respect to others, as well as for sanitary and aesthetic reason – should not be an undue imposition.
Laws have a teaching element and instilling proper civic courtesy to others is certainly a lawful subject matter.”

Here are some of the reactions of the netizens from Twitter with the post:

Ang elitista, burgis ng pananaw. Pero kapag maganda ang katawan ng nakasando, kanin na lang kulang.

Asan na ba magagaling na fashion designer dito? Kailangan ko ng isusuot pang Krispy Kreme! Nakakahiya naman sa kanya

Kapag overly dress or naka jacket may issue din, kesyo tropical country tayo mainit tapos kapag naka sando at mas comfortable sila may issue, ano ba gusto suotin mag-hubad na lang.
