Gilas Pilipinas is now successfully marching on their way to 2019 FIBA World Cup after beating Kazakhstan with score 93-75.
Andray Blatche led the Philippine basketball team to success scoring 23 points in the first half and 41 points on the entire game.
Blatche also exerted extra effort by having 13 rebounds leading their team to get the sweet victory.
Gilas members aside from Blatche also did their best leading the Philippine team aiming to secure its entry to the World Cup.
Kazakhstan’s resiliency has also prevented Gilas during the third quarter but the determination of the Philippine team enabled them to win.
However, the team needs to beat Lebanon, Japan or Jordan to finally make it to the FIBA World Cup 2019.
The 2019 FIBA World Cup will be held in China from August 31 to September 15, 2019.
