What could be the reason behind Catriona Gray split with model boyfriend.
CATRIONA GRAY SPLIT – The Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray finally puts end to rumors as she confirmed that she and Clint Bondad are not together anymore.
Catriona Gray is Miss Universe 2018, the fourth crown that a Pinay have snatched from the most prestigious pageant in the universe for the country. But aside from being the best in the field, the people are also well-aware that she has a boyfriend and that is the model and actor Clint Bondad.
However, right after winning the beauty pageant, rumors about the split of the two have circulated online. Also, there were those who claimed that they already have a problem even before the pageant to which was confirmed by the beauty queen herself. Gray confirmed the split during her interview with Boy Abunda.
“Coz actually we were having some problems even before the pageant. But, me, I’m a very private person kasi, e, and even before we left for Thailand, we were not on speaking terms so much,” she said.
Catriona further added, “It was really hard going through the competition with that happening all at the same time, but I had to keep reminding myself this is the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I need to give my best, why am I here, and I wanna represent the Philippines well, so it was a struggle. But I see that he’s doing so well now.”
Miss Universe 2018 is open for taking another shot of love with her ex-boyfriend now because she said that if they are meant to be together, it will eventually happen in the future.
“I’m always grateful to him for the time I shared with him, coz he has seen me through so much, I’ve seen him through so much. We both supported each other. It just didn’t work. And I don’t wanna talk about it that much… One, I’m private; and two, I greatly respect him and I’m grateful for the time that I had with him. I just wish him the best,” she said.
