Director General Undersecretary Aaron Aquino of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said that Ashley’s relative and sibling heard her boyfriend telling the doctor that he gave an illegal drug.

Based on a report from Sunstar, the prime suspect and the boyfriend Nel Spencer Tiu arrived last February 13 at the Cebu City Police Station to clear his name.
He was accompanied by his parents and denied that he was the one who handed the victim party drug ecstasy.
According to the report, Debold Sinas of Police Regional Office-Central Visayas Chief stated that Nel Spencer Tiu was interviewed by investigators who are in charge of Ashley’s death.
The boyfriend told the investistigators that he did not gave his girlfriend an illegal drug. Sinas said he will still not disclose the names of other personalities involve on the incident.
Based on the report, the chief of Police Regional Office-Central Visayas said that they are currently on the last stage of the investigation.
