Taiwanese Fishing Vessel Caught Fire in Falkland island, 5 Filipino Seafarers Went Missing
Five Pinoy seafarers have gone missing after their fishing vessel in Falkland Island along the South Atlantic Ocean caught fire.
The Facebook page “Rmn Iloilo” has shared the video footage of Jung Ron fishing vessel filled with fire.
In the video, it can be seen that the fire was rapidly devastating the Taiwanese fishing vessel along with its crew members.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirmed that five Filipino seafarers went missing after the Taiwanese fishing vessel Jung Ron caught fire along the South Atlantic Ocean.
DFA said that the missing Pinoy seafarers were not yet identified but currently making a search and rescue operation.
The authorities rescued about 64 crew members of the shipping vessel and found out that there is five more missing.
