Celebrities reminisce memory with comedian Bentong
Filipino comedian Bentong died at the age of 55 on morning of Februaray 9 and celebrities reminisced their fond memories with him.
A previous report stated that the comedian, who used to be a sidekick of Willie Revillame, John Estrada, and Randy Santiago, suffered from diabetes for several years.
On Saturday, he succumb to his illness and bid goodbye to his loved ones.
It can be recalled that he had an emotional moment with Willie on the Kapuso game show ‘Wowowin’ wherein he shared about his health condition.
During that time, he also thanked the TV host for helping him.
Bentong’s death draw emotional words from several personalities in show business.
Kapuso star Kiray Celis shared a throwback photo with the deceased comedian and Kapamilya comedian Bayani Agbayani on her Instagram account. They worked together in the movie ‘Pera O Bayong Not Da TV’ with Willie, John and Randy.
“Rest in peace kuya bentong [crying emoji]” Kiray wrote.
Actress Sherilyn Reyes also recalled her fond memories with Bentong. She shared that she was discovered in show business because of him.
“Kuya Boyet, nalungkot ako bigla. Di ko alam, nagpaalam ka na. Di ko makakalimutan tuwing nagkikita tayo, tawag mo sa kin, Sherilyn Brotamante [laughing with tears emojis] Salamat Kuya! Di ako magiging artista kung di mo ko nakita at itinuro kina Mr.M at Tita Mariolle. Rest In Peace Kuya Boyet! #bentong [broken heart]” she wrote.
