MMDA Suspends Metro Manila Number Coding for Chinese New Year
METRO MANILA NUMBER CODING – The number coding in Metro Manila is suspended for the celebration of the Chinese New Year today, February 5, 2019.
Today, not only China but as well as other countries celebrate the Chinese New Year. Among the other nations holding celebrations for the said event is the Philippines.
A lot of Chinese people are residing in the Philippines and they have greatly influenced the Filipino people. Even Pinoys join the celebration and the fun trying out the Chinese delicacies and traditions.
Classes are also suspended today in line with the celebration of the Chinese New Year. A lot of people could be seen strolling around parks and other venues where activities in line with the events are held.
Aside from the suspension of classes, the Metro Manila number coding is also lifted today in celebration of the Chinese New Year.
Based on a report on Manila Bulletin, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced the lifting of the number coding and reminded the public to plan their trips and be careful.
