TNT Boys got 99 points for their performance in The World’s Best
Pinoy singing sensation TNT Boys made it to the next level of The World’s Best with a whopping 99 points from the judges.
Previously, Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore, one of the star judges, shared a preview of the performance from the Philippine representative.
She was mesmerized as how the young boys performed the powerful song international singer Beyonce titled Listen.
Previously, the TNT Boys also stunned TV host Ellen DeGeneres with their performance of the same song in Little Big Shot.
Finally, when the first episode of The World’s Best aired on CBS, the whole world witnessed the amazing talent of these young boys.
Emmy award winner James Corden, as the host of the show, was also mesmerized by the performance of the Pinoy singers.
When the three American judges cast their votes, the TNT Boys got 49 points. They needed to accomplish at least 75 points to move forward to the next level.
Luckily, the young talented singers got 99 points which garnered a loud cheer from the audience.
Concert Queen Pops Fernandez, as one of the international judges, expressed how proud she is for the TNT Boys.
“Oh my gosh! I am so proud right now to represent the Philippines. On behalf of the Filipinos, guess what, I know for a fact that you can be The World’s Best,” she commented.
Francis Concepcion, Mackie Empuerto, and Kiefer Sanchez came from the singing contest Tawag ng Tanghalan kids edition, a segment in the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime.
