Following a previous article, oil prices increased due to the fuel tax last month, January 14. The price of fuel rose up to P2.30/ liter.
Gas stations namely Seaoil, Shell, Unioil, Caltex, Total, PTT, and Eastern announced their increase of fuel price.
Meanwhile, some gas stations specifically the independent oil firms recently declared their oil price rollbacks.
Based on a report from Philstar, the Seaoil Philippines Inc. announced through text advisory the latest prices of their fuel.
The independent oil firm will decrease the price of the kerosene by P0.20, diesel by P0.35 and P0.60 on the gasoline. “This is to reflect movements in the international petroleum market,” said Seaoil.
According to the report, the oil company Petro Gazz also performs a price rollback. The price of their gasoline will decrease P0.65 per liter, P0.35 on diesel.
One of the independent oil firms, Shell announced that their oil price rollback will be effective tomorrow by 6 in the morning. Their diesel will cut off P0.35 per liter, P0.60 on gasoline and P0.20 on kerosene.
Based on the report, the first independent oil company who announced their fuel price rollback was the Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. They have implemented a decrease since Saturday.
The price of their gasoline decreased P.65/liter while their diesel decreased P0.35/liter.
