Based on a previous report, the Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu have just recently admitted and confirmed relationship with on-screen partner Xian Lim. This was after years of speculations about their real score from sharing their sweet moments together down to their sweet messages to each other.
The actress’ confirmation being the girlfriend of Xian Lim even ignited issue that she is using it as a strategy to promote her Metro Manila Film Festival entry “One Great Love”.
And now, during the guesting of the Kapamilya actor Xian Lim in Tonight With Boy Abunda, he was asked why it took some time for them to admit their relationship. He just shared that those times that it was still behind the public’s awareness about them being together and while there are still some projects they have together, they don’t just want to use their status for promotion.
“Ayaw naming umamin while magka-trabaho kami parang I don’t want people thinking na parang ‘Eh kasi gusto lang nilang i-promote yung nila eh that’s why they’re together’… But now, years later, we’re still together. We’re not promoting anything, we’re not promoting ourselves,” he said.
The Kapamilya actor further shared that what they love the most doing together is having long drives either he’s the one driving or his girlfriend does it.
There had been also that time, being both spontaneous, they have reached Quezon just driving and sometimes Tagaytay and then just turn around and go back just talking the whole drive. It is their kind of bonding.
