Sarah Geronimo supports Sen. Sonny Angara, some fans expressed dislike
Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo received scrutiny for vocally expressing her support to Senator Sonny Angara.
It is inevitable that showbiz personalities have their personal choice of political candidates.
Some choose to be silent while there are those who are visible during the campaign period.
On the other hand, as celebrities are also citizens of the country, they are entitled to support whoever politician they want.
In line with this right, Sarah Geronimo expressed that she is supporting Senator Angara for the 2019 midterm election.
Based on Pilipino Star Ngayon’s report, here is the statement of the singer-actress:
“Ito po ay walang halong bola, malaki po ang naitulong sa amin ng pamilyang Angara. Wala na po talagang pagho-hold back. Sa mga tulad ko po ng pinanggalingan—bata pa lang ay gusto nang maging sikat na artista at sikat na performer, never na pababayaan ang pag-aaral dahil ‘yun ang hindi mawawala sa ‘yo. Kahit malaos ka na, ‘yung pinag-aralan mo hindi ‘yan makukuha sa ’yo.”
However, this received criticisms from other people and even one of her known die-hard fan expressed dislike about this.
A report from Bandera stated that some did not like that Sarah showed support to Sen. Angara, one of the lawmakers who is pushing the TRAIN law.

“Palibhasa celebrity kasi si Sarah, malakas kumita kaya ano naman sa kanya kung umabot man hanggang TRAIN Law 10 ang aprubahan ng paborito niyang senador?”
