Is Barbie Forteza planning to transfer network?
BARBIE FORTEZA – The Kapuso actress Barbie Fortaleza answers questions about having any plans of leaving the Kapuso network.
At young age, the Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza started appearing in various shows and programs. With her undeniable talent and potential, she stayed in the industry and will be now celebrating her 10th anniversary as an artist.
In a span of 10 years, she was given an entitlement as “Tween Queen”. She first appeared in 2009 Filipino adaptation of Stairway To Heaven. She was supposed to have a debut in Kapamilya network but the project was shelved and that’s where her fate led her to the Kapuso network.
As reported in PEP, “Kasi parang right after na mapanuod ako sa Stairway, gusto nilang ituloy yung Annaliza na. So parang sa amin, kung kailan kami nakuha ng 7, at saka kami gusto ulit ng kabila.”
Leaving GMA Network
In the same report, Barbie shared that she does not have any plans to leave the network who molded her, who believed in her, and who accepted her and eventually became the actress that she is now.
“Parang hindi ko naman kasi nai-imagine yung sarili ko sa ibang network, parang Kapuso talaga. E, sila yung unang nagtiwala sa akin, sila yung unang nagbigay sa akin ng chance, kasi gusto ko talagang mag-artista. Hindi ako actually sa GMA agad nag-audition, nag-audition din ako sa iba, pero GMA ang tumanggap sa akin so bakit ako aalis, e, sila yung nagtiwala sa akin?” she said.
Now, the actress is prepping up herself for her new series “Kara Mia” and she is currently in a relationship with fellow Kapuso artist Jak Roberto.
