PDEA Reports 5,104 Drug Suspects Slain In President Duterte’s Ongoing War On Drugs
PDEA – The police has slain 5,104 drug suspects in President Duterte’s war on drugs according to PDEA.
One of the major concern of President Duterte’s administration is the “war on drugs.” Since taking the office, he aimed to reduce the pushers and users of the illegal substance.
The Philippine National Police are the ones who initiate the arrest of the suspects and if ever they resist, they are oblige to shot him/her dead.
The code name of the campaign is “Tokhang.” The operation is led by a deputy chief of police and four of his policemen in uniform.
This movement of the Rodrigo Duterte was contradicted by the Catholic Church and some broadcasters in the country.
Meanwhile, the PDEA recently released a number of drug suspects that were slain on the ongoing war on drugs of the president.
Starting from July 2016 to December 2018, the fatalities of recorded 117,385 based on the press conference last Friday.
It was recorded that there were 167,135 alleged drug personalities were captured and 621 of them were employees of the government.
On the post of Real Numbers PH on Facebook, they reported that out of 42,044 barangays, 9,999 of them were all cleared from the illegal substance.
While there are still 22,427 villages who are still “problematic” because of other people’s illegal drug dealings.
The PDEA disclosed that 9,618 villages have not been affected by the illegal drugs transactions anymore.
They reported on the post that a total of P25 billion worth of laboratory equipment and illegal drugs were confiscated last year.
Oplan Double Barrel and Oplan Tokhang were recognized on President Duterte’s war on drugs.
