During the Shay Mitchel’s visit in the country to promote her new tv series, the press asked her a lot of things including her fondness of music.
The interviewer asked her what is her favorite behind-the-scenes moment while shooting for their upcoming tv show, “You”.
According to the report, Shay Mitchel shared that the other girls were obsessed with the Musical Theater and Broadway.
After she revealed to her co-stars that she was a second cousin of Lea Salonga, all of them were shocked.
“My second cousin is Lea Salonga, but I don’t share the same talent and voice as she does. So, one of the funny moments was when they (her co-stars) all found out and were like, ‘That’s your cousin?!”
Based on the report, the Hollywood star stated that Lea Salonga has always been very supportive of her. In fact, the Filipina singer always says her ‘hello’ to all of her family in the front.
“Whenever we go and watch one of her shows, she always does a special ‘hello’ for all of our family that’s sitting in the front row,” said Shay
