Singer-actress Lea Salonga received criticisms from netizens for performing at Chinese President Xi Jinping‘s dinner visit.
In line with the recent visit of the Chinese President in the Philippines, a state dinner was held in Malacanan Palace.
During the said event the Broadway diva was the guest performer. She sang a medley of the songs I Dreamed A Dream and On My Own from the musical play Les Miserables.
Lea Salonga played both the characters of Fantine and Eponine in the play who sang the said songs.
It is no wonder that she masters also the emotions of the song.
