Fight Between Jhack Tepora, Hugo Ruiz Cancelled – Filipino Boxer Stripped of Title
JHACK TEPORA – Filipino boxer Jhack Tepora was stripped of his WBA Interim Featherweight title and his fight versus Hugo Ruiz is cancelled.
One of the undercard matches in the upcoming big boxing event featuring the fight of Manny Pacquiao and Adrien Broner is the match between Jhack Tepora and Hugo Ruiz.
The undefeated Filipino boxer will supposedly defend his WBA Interim Featherweight title from Hugo Ruiz of Mexico. However, their fight may no longer happen following the weighing results.
Based on a post on ABS-CBN News’ Twitter page,
According to the post, instead of fighting against Tepora for the latter’s interim title, Hugo Ruiz will now fight against Alberto Guevara.
The camp of Tepora has yet to speak or release a statement over the cancellation of his undercard fight. We’ll keep you posted for updates.
