Comelec Releases List of Mock Elections Venues

Here is the official list of venues for the mock elections released by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) as preparation for Election 2019.

Comelec will launch a nationwide “mock elections” as a preparation for the midterm election on May 13, 2019.

The Commission on Elections would held the mock elections on Saturday (January 19, 2019) starting 5 am until 1 pm.

Here are the following venues for the mock elections:

National Capital Region

  • Quezon City (1st at 2nd district)
  • Manila (5th district)
  • Pasig (2nd district)
  • Taguig
  • Pateros
  • Valenzuela City (1st district)
  • Muntinlupa City

Luzon

  • Alaminos City, Pangasinan
  • Dagupan City, Pangasinan
  • Tuguegarao City, Cagayan
  • Aparri, Cagayan

Visayas

  • Cebu City (1st district), Cebu
  • Santander, Cebu
  • Albuquerque, Bohol
  • Cortes, Bohol

Mindanao

  • Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte
  • Segio Osmena Sr., Zamboanga Del Norte
  • Digos City, Davao del Sur
  • Bansalan, Davao del Sur
  • General Santos City, South Cotabato
  • Surallah, South Cotabato
  • Jolo, Sulu
  • Tongkil, Sulu
  • Lamitan, Basilan

Daraga, Albay at Cotabato City have been also declared under the jurisdiction of Comelec.

Mock Elections

President Rodrigo Duterte has suggested placing Daraga, Albay under the control of Comelec after the assassination of Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Rodel Batocabe.
