Drugs Worth P160.5 Million Kept in Boxes Declared As Canned Goods Packages Intercepted

DRUGS – Different kinds of drugs worth Php 160.5 million kept in canned goods boxes were intercepted in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.

The campaign against drugs under the Duterte Administration continues. One of the biggest promises of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is to clean the country from its presence.

The authorities now are visibly stricter in line with the campaign against the illegal substances. Recently, different kinds of illegal substances worth multi-million pesos were seized by the authorities in Pampanga.

Based on a social media post on PDEA Top Stories, drugs worth Php 160,550,000.00 kept in boxes were intercepted by the authorities in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.

PDEA Chief Director General Aaron N. Aquino expressed that the boxes were declared as canned goods packages. According to the post, the illegal substance were found hidden inside the cans of tomato paste.

PDEA Regional Office III led by Director Gil T. Pabilona and PDEA Regional Office- National Capital Region (PDEA-RO NCR) led by Dircetor Joel B. Plaza worked closely in the operation.
