Senate And House Officials Agreed To The Dismissal Of Road Board

ROAD BOARD – The House officials agreed with Senators Ralph Recto, Juan Miguel Zubiri, and House Majority Leader Rolando Andaya to dimiss the Road Board.

According to Bombo Radyo, Zubiri was assigned by the Senate to discuss with the House officials in order to reach the upper House’s affirmation to dissolve the board, after the latter recently took back the abolition of the board.

Zubiri further said that he collabed with Rolando Andaya to make the upcoming amendments of the dismissal of the board simple and quick.

As per the said report, part of the amendments is even with the abolition of the said board, the collection of road users tax  will still continue, and all collected tax will transfer to the National Treasury.
