January 10, 12, 15 Declared as Non-Working Holidays in These Areas

Malacañang Palace has declared January 10, 12, and 15 as non-working holidays in three different areas in the country in celebration of these events.

On Wednesday (January 9, 2019), Palace declared the following dates in the month of January as non-working holidays in three areas including (South Cotabato, Bukidnon, and Laguna).

Earlier this week, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea signed three proclamations declaring the non-working holidays.

Non-Working Holidays

Medialdea signed the following proclamation by the authority of President Rodrigo Duterte.

Here is the list of non-working days in three areas:

  • January 10 (Thursday) – Non-working holiday in  Koronadal City, South Cotabato in celebration of its 79th founding anniversary and the 19th Hinugyaw Festival based on Proclamation 642.
  • January 12 (Saturday) – Non-working holiday in Valencia City, Bukidnon on January 12 in celebration of its founding anniversary, according to the Proclamation 643.
  • January 15 (Tuesday) – Non-working holiday in  San Pablo City, Laguna in celebration of the 24th Coconut Festival and Street Dancing Competition (Mardi Gras) as declared by the Proclamation 644.
