The street vendors along Quiapo are now selling Black Nazarene’s images and relics for the devotees over a week before the feast.

The Black Nazarene is a life-sized image of a dark-skinned, kneeling Jesus Christ carrying the cross, which was displayed in Quiapo, Manila.

The feast of the Black Nazarene or locally known as “Pista ng Itim na Nazareno” is one of the most popular religious feast in the Philippines.

The Traslacion of the most famous Filipino devotion object is usually celebrated every January 9 of the every year.

Thousands of Filipino Catholics and devotees are trooping at Quiapo Church to attend the annual procession.

Almost a week before the Black Nazarene, street vendors along Quiapo, Manila were already selling mini-images and relics of the wooden statue.
