Department Of Tourism (DOT) Reveals Number Of Accredited Establishments In Boracay Has Reached Up To 296

DOT – The Department of Tourism (DOT) recently confirmed that the number of accredited establishments has reached to 296 as reported.

In the previous report, tourists from China can now visit the Boracay Island as Kalibo International Airport opened up two new routes from the cities of Nanjing and Changsha. It was reported that the island was overflowing with Chinese tourists.

Recently, the Department of Tourism has confirmed that a total of 296 establishments in Boracay have been accredited by Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and Department of Tourism themselves .

According to GMA News, a total of 10,467 rooms are permitted to accommodate tourists visiting Boracay, which underwent a six-month rehabilitation last year.

The DOT recently posted a list of accredited establishments on social media. Here is the list below:

The Boracay Island has been reopened in October 2018 after it underwent rehabilitation for six months.

As per the report, since the reopening, the Department of Tourism limit the number of tourist arrivals to 6,405 per day.
