Breaking News: 3 People Dead In A Landslide In Legazpi City, Albay

A landslide in Legazpi City in Albay occurred on December 29 before 2 AM and 3 people were reported dead.

Initial reports stated that the victims were a father, a mother and their child living in Barangay San Francisco.

Radio reporter Jonathan Andal of SuperRadyo dzBB reported the incident.

Authorities haven’t confirmed yet the identities of the victims.

According to a report, Legazpi City Police stated that the Tropical Depression Usman caused the grounds to soften thus the landslide happened.

According to the latest weather update, Tropical Depression Usman finally made landfall over Eastern Samar’s Borongan City bringing inclement weather condition.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warns people of possible flashflood and landslide in areas affected by Usman.

Fisherfolks are also advised not to venture to the sea because it might be risky due to the inclement weather.
