SWS Releases Pres. Duterte Satisfaction Rating in 4th Quarter

DUTERTE SATISFACTION RATING – The Social Weather Stations (SWS) released the satisfaction rating of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte for the 4th quarter of 2018.

The year 2018 is almost over and Pres. Duterte has served the Philippines for more than two years now since his election in 2016. The 73-year-old President won a landslide victory in the national bid.

Just like in other administrations, satisfaction rating surveys are conducted quarterly by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) to know the side and the pulse of the populace.

Recently, the SWS conducted the satisfaction rating survey on Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte for the 4th Quarter of 2018. An interview with 1,440 adults was done from December 16-19.

Duterte Satisfaction Rating

Based on a report on CNN, the SWS has already released the Pres. Duterte satisfaction rating for the 4th quarter of 2018. The result is up by 6 points from the September rating.

According to the report, from the +54 in September which denotes “very good”, the satisfactory rating for Pres. Duterte this December is at +60 “very good”.

The six-point increase on the rating of the Philippine President is composed of the 13 points increase in the rating from Visayas, 22 points increase from Metro Manila, and three(3) points from Luzon.

Based on the report, in Mindanao, the Pres. Duterte satisfaction rating is down by four(4) points from +73 to +77 which was recorded in September. Meanwhile, according to SWS, it is still “excellent”.

On the middle line, 11% of Filipinos cannot directly say whether they are satisfied or not with the performance of the President in leading the nation.

In terms of classification, the people living in the cities are satisfied with how Pres. Duterte is fulfilling his job. A rise by 22 points in the rating crossed – from +42 to +64.

Based on the report, in the rural areas, the satisfaction rating on the President fell by five points from +57 to +62.
