TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The Tawag ng Tanghalan December 27 winner is still the Mindanao defending champion John Michael Dela Cerna.
The daily contenders for today, December 27, were:
- Ma. Shaine Chong (Metro Manila)
- Corrine Aragon (Luzon)
- Jhanewin Melo (Visayas)
However, the first contender was “gonged” to which the Punong Hurado Gary Valenciano has said that her nervousness became obvious which affected her singing.
All of the daily contenders have performed their best but the one who bested out garnering an average score of 95% is Jhanewin Melo from Visayas. She will be facing the defending champion John Michael Dela Cerna from Mindanao.
During the final round, the Tapatan, the daily winner sang This Is My Life and the defending champion performed Kailangan Kita. But the one who earned the highest score of 95.8% is still John Michael Dela Cerna, his fifth win which gave him a slot to be at the semi-finals. He decided to continue the fight and defend the title.

- OVERALL PERFORMANCE – 50%
The judges for today, December 27 are Yeng Constantino, Randy Santiago, Jed Madela, Jaya, and “Punong Hurado” Gary Valenciano.
Tawag Ng Tanghalan is aired in the noontime show Its Showtime which is now on its third year and a singing competition for the amateur singers. The known champions from TNT were Noven Belleza, Jhon Clyd Talili, and Janine Berdin for the first year, kids edition, and second year respectively.
